Sri Bijay Kumar Patnaik
A distinguished officer of the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) from the 1976 batch, having served Odisha in various key capacities. He held positions such as Collector of Sundargarh and Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary of Water Resources, Secretary of Cooperation, and Secretary of Forest. He was the Principal Secretary to three Chief Ministers—Sri Giridhar Gomango, Late Hemanand Biswal, and Sri Naveen Patnaik. He later served as Odisha’s Chief Secretary (2010–2013). Post-retirement, he held esteemed roles as Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission, Member of the Odisha Human Rights Commission, and President of the Vedanta University Project.
Sri Sarada Prasanna Swain
A graduate in Engineering and Management, he brings a diverse background in both politics and enterprise. Known for his strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills, he has successfully led initiatives that create meaningful impact. Sri Sarat Chandra Sahoo
A renowned Mathematics educator, he has mentored over 50 successful IITians and 400 quality engineers, including 100 NITians. With 24 years of teaching experience, his expertise and dedication have shaped countless aspiring engineers. His immense talent has been recognized by the Government of Odisha, which appointed him as a Resource Person for the Academic Support Programme under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education. Passionate about nurturing young minds, he continues to inspire students with his deep knowledge and commitment to excellence in education.
Sri Sivapada Swain
A civil servant with an illustrious career in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) since 1976, he has held key positions across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Rising through the ranks, he retired as Director General of Income Tax, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in public service. Post-retirement, he served as a Member of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission. An avid reader and passionate educator, he now dedicates his time to teaching tribal students in the slums of Bhubaneswar, reflecting his deep commitment to social upliftment and education.
Sri Rama Chandra Nayak
A veteran political leader from Sundargarh district, he has been instrumental in promoting education and livelihood opportunities for tribal communities. As Chairman of Bargaon Block, he played a key role in enhancing economic prospects for local residents. His contributions to education are remarkable, having established a network of high schools in every Panchayat and founding Bargaon College. In the skill sector, he set up a premier ITI and a Nursing College in Bargaon, both recognized among the best in Odisha. His visionary efforts continue to uplift communities through education and skill development.
Sri Bishnu Charan Sahoo
A seasoned entrepreneur with 50 years of experience, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Odisha’s healthcare landscape. He was instrumental in establishing AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar, under the Emami Group, creating employment opportunities for thousands of young professionals. His deep commitment to philanthropy has led to the founding of an orphanage and other institutions dedicated to supporting the underprivileged. His efforts continue to uplift communities by providing essential services, education, and healthcare, reflecting his lifelong dedication to social welfare and economic development.
Sri Rabinarayan Mishra
With 31 years of dedicated service as an OAS officer in the Government of Odisha, he held key administrative roles, rising from Block Development Officer and Tahsildar to Secretary of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Development Authorities. A passionate philanthropist, he has contributed to education by donating computers to schools and establishing a tuition center in Harijan Sahi, Makinpur. His commitment to social welfare extends to temple donations, tree plantation drives along Barchana-Balichandrapur Road, and organizing blood donation camps, reflecting his deep-rooted dedication to community service and development.
Sri Biswanath Acharya
A retired officer of the Indian Administrative Services (I.A.S), he joined the Odisha Administrative Service and served in different parts of the State as BDO right up to Additional Secretary to Government of Odisha. Known as an honest and fair-minded officer, he continues to work for social causes in his native district of Kendrapara and also in other areas such as Dhenkanal etc.
Sri Pramod Chandra Patnaik
With 34 years of exemplary service as an IAS officer, he held several key administrative roles, including District Collector in three districts. His leadership in the education sector was instrumental as the head of the Odisha State Primary Education Programme Authority under Sarba Sikhya Abhijan, where he served as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government of Odisha. Post-retirement, he led CSR initiatives at Vedanta Aluminium, Lanjigarh. Deeply committed to social welfare, he is actively involved in philanthropic activities through FOSCAO and currently serves as Chairman of Senior Citizens’ Vikash Parishad, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Susant Das
A distinguished Physics educator and author, he has penned several notable books, including Physics at a Glance, Odisha JEE at a Glance, and Basic Electronics. He is a member of the United Writers’ Association and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education. Currently, he serves as Director Academics at XXIS and Principal of Swami Vivekanand Residential College. His extensive experience includes roles as Principal at VISWASS, Chief Coordinator at KBRC, and Assistant Professor at Krupajal Engineering College, making him a respected figure in the field of technical and higher education.
Sri Ashok Baral
A A PG Diploma holder in Mass Communication, he is an accredited freelance journalist recognized by the Government of Odisha. Coming from a farming background, he remains deeply engaged in agriculture and serves as an elected farmer member of the Odisha State Seeds Corporation. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is passionate about swimming and yoga, having developed a unique technique of performing yoga while floating in water. Committed to sharing his expertise, he has trained batches of volunteers, including firemen and police personnel, in this specialized skill, blending wellness with practical life-saving techniques.
